Meet Dr. Sadie Fullam

EDD, CCC-SLP

After getting my first job as an SLP, I quickly realized the field of speech and language intersects with special education in so many ways, but especially through connections of language and literacy. In 2019 I decided to take a step into earning an educational specialist (EdS) degree in Special Education and graduated in 2021 with a concentration in Autism Spectrum Disorders. Developing even further as an SLP, team chair, and literacy coach-leadership was the ultimate goal. Just this past October, I earned my doctoral degree as a Doctor of Education in Transformational School Leadership.

All of that to say, in summary, that in deciding to open my private practice I am extremely passionate regarding the success and development of children so that they aren’t only achieving students, but happy human beings as well.

In so many IEP meetings that I have facilitated I often say “this is a wonderful plan and will support the student, but none of this matters nor will they access the curriculum if they are not happy.”

Degrees and Certifications

It’s important to share my educational journey and what led me here to opening my own practice. I started college in 2011 with aspirations to become an early education teacher just like my mom. This soon changed to a passion for language and I graduated in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Worcester State. From there, I was accepted into the Master’s program for Speech-Language Pathology at WSU and earned my degree in 2017.
